Taking care of the environment!
In Habys we believe that each and every one of us is responsible for our Planet, which is why we’re constantly improving our proceses and creating new habits towards ECO-friendly movement. We are convinced that living in respect for nature has strong influence on our and our loved ones’ health.
How do we implement the ECO-Friendly philosophy?
- ECO-documentation
We choose electronic document circulation, minimalising paper consumption. Our proceses and archieves are fully digitized. That’s why printers and photocopier have little to no use in our company. The employees who create our team are people of high environmental sensitivity.
- ECO-invoice
We limit the amount of printouts and paper consumption. Paper invoices and receipts have been replaced with electronic sales documents (paper form only at the customer’s request). We are proud to state that the majority of our clients are concious recipients, resigning from paper invoices. If you are one of them, keep in mind that we are beyond grateful for your actions! Instead of spending money on paper, we fully cover the costs of tree-planting! Find out more about it down below.
- ECO-heating
The entire Habys area, which consists of our headquarters, production unit, offices and warehouses are heated 100% using renewable Energy sources. As a result, during winter there is less carbon dioxide produced, so the area in less polluted.
- ECO-equipment
Habys buildings are illuminated with energy-saving lighting, and our offices are equipped with power-efficient electronic devices, minimalising electricity usage. As a team, we build good habits among employees, for instance, not leaving the lights on unnessesarily. We are aware that great results are achieved with small, but systematic steps.

- ECO-packing
We pack our products using eco-friendly materials, such as: recyclable cardboard boxes, poly mailer, unprinted paper tapes, eco-filling, pillows, recycled paper. We use foil tapes and packaging only when it’s nessesary to protect certain type of products. We have optimazed the packing proces in the spirit of ZERO WASTE. Each box is precisely matched to ordered products. We arrange the goods in such a way, that there is no free, wasted space and no need to use large amounts of fillers.
- ECO-production
We carefully plan our production proceses minimalising the generation of waste. The whole Habys area is full of waste segregation containers, which are always available within reach.
- ECO-shopping
We don’t buy water in plastic bottles. We provide our employees with filtered water or water in glass bottles. Believe us or not, it tastes better knowing that we are not harming our planet when drinking it!
We are proud, that together we can create environment-concious community, which acts with care for nature every day!
You can be ECO-friendly too! How to do it?
If you can, do a selection of our packaging and throw its individual parts into apprpriate containers. Reuse what you can. Then take a photo and post it on social media tagging us and using our hashtag #ecohabys. Reach out to your creativity! We believe in you! This is your first great step for the sake of our Planet!
We celebrate the 25th anniversary of Habys by planting trees!
We are aware that every step towards taking care of our environment influences our health. We want to take more steps and create inspiration for other people. The 25th anniversary of the estabilishment of Habys which falls in 2023, has been celebrated in a unique way. We decided to start the tree-planting campaign. First spring planting is already behind us. During fall we plan to plant another trees and as a result create our own Habys forest! We hope that we will influence the whole community of wonderful people gatherd by the Habys brand!
